Drought conditions refer to an extended period of below-average precipitation that results in a shortage of water supply for various purposes such as agriculture, industry, and domestic use. Droughts can have serious impacts on ecosystems, economies, and societies, leading to crop failures, water shortages, and increased risk of wildfires. Researchers in this area study the causes, impacts, and management strategies for drought conditions, including monitoring and forecasting techniques, water conservation measures, and policy interventions to mitigate the effects of droughts. The aim of this research is to improve our understanding of droughts and develop strategies to better prepare for and respond to these natural disasters.
